U toku prve godine obrazuje se \u201eglavica\u201c sa koje polazi veliki broj krupnih mesnatih listova. Slede\u0107e godine se razvija stabljika visoka i do dva metra. Donji listovi na stabljici su \u0161iroki, obuhvataju stabljiku, a gornji su duguljasti sede\u0107i. Cvetovi su grupisani u rastresite grozdove. Kruni\u010dni listi\u0107i su \u017euti a plod je ljuska. Cveta od aprila do maja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dokazano je da se sokom od sve\u017eeg kupusa mo\u017ee uspe\u0161no le\u010diti \u010dir na \u017eelucu i upala debelog creva. Kupusom se u organizam unose najaktivniji elementi za odr\u017eavanje biolo\u0161ke ravnote\u017ee organizma i za odbranu organizma od raznih bolesti. Bogat je celulozom koja pobolj\u0161ava varenje, deluje povoljno na zacelivanje rana te preventivno poma\u017ee kod prehlade i ka\u0161lja. Kod nas se malo koristi sirovi kupus (sve\u017e ili kiseo), iako je upravo takav najbogatiji hranljivim i lekovitim sastojcima.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kuvani kupus skoro uvek se kuva sa dobrim par\u010detom meke junetine (neko stavljai suve slanine ili kobasicu). Te dve stvari se ne razdvajaju.
